Rick Doblin

His professional goal is to help develop legal contexts for the beneficial uses of psychedelics and marijuana, primarily as prescription medicines but also for personal growth for otherwise healthy people, and eventually to become a legally licensed psychedelic therapist. Why Psychedelics?
Psychedelics have the potential to deepen our understanding of the interconnectedness of all people and the natural world. By fostering a direct sense of unity, they can reduce tendencies toward dehumanization and separation. Additionally, through facilitating the processing and healing of personal trauma, psychedelics can help individuals gain greater clarity, empathy, and perspective, qualities essential to creating a more compassionate and conscious world.
